Join our team as a Peak Season Support Care Administrator

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference and contribute to a worthy cause? Macmillan Cancer Support is seeking a Support Care Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract from March until 30th November 2024. As a full-time employee, you will work 34.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your work location will be split between your home and our Shipley office, with Tuesdays spent in the office. The salary for this position is £21,450 per year.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping Macmillan reach our fundraising goals. Your main responsibilities will include logging fundraising complaints and compliments, ensuring high-quality and accurate delivery within agreed timescales. You will also support in categorizing data and perform day-to-day administration tasks, such as data input and updating contact lists. By being part of this small team, you will contribute to delivering an excellent supporter experience and help us achieve our commitment to our supporters and our ambition of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment and carrying out office administration tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as previous experience providing support and handling customer enquiries. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, is required, along with a strong attention to detail for maintaining key data and documentation.
