Leave Your Mark – Indianapolis (August 1, 2024) – International Medical Group (IMG), an award-winning global insurance benefits and assistance services company, is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for its annual Leave Your Mark grant. Now in its eighth year, this initiative aims to support significant causes championed by mission and social good organizations worldwide.
Grant Application Details
The application period for the Leave Your Mark grant is from August 1 to September 13, 2024. IMG will be awarding funds to a total of five winners. Two mission or social good organizations will each receive a grant of $3,500, while three individuals embarking on mission, volunteer, or service trips will each receive $1,000.
Prospective applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay or a 3-minute video. The content should describe the importance of their mission or service trip, the challenges they are working to overcome, and how the grant funds would assist in their global outreach efforts.
Impact of Previous Winners
The previous year’s grant winners exemplified the impactful work supported by the Leave Your Mark initiative. For instance, Village to Village used their grant to host a camp for 60 newly arrived refugee children in the U.S. Meanwhile, Helping Children Worldwide organized a training conference for nearly 100 midwives in Sierra Leone to enhance maternal and newborn health services.
The individual winners also made significant contributions, such as providing childbirth education in Eswatini, improving access to food and education in an Indian village, addressing physical and spiritual needs in Guatemala, offering agricultural training in Liberia, and funding child sponsorship and school building in Oaxaca, Mexico.
