Introduction to SBIF Muskaan
The SBI Foundation, through its initiative, SBIF Muskaan, is dedicated to enhancing early childhood development and child protection across India. The foundation is currently inviting proposals from NGOs that are actively working in these critical areas. This initiative focuses on engaging organizations with relevant experience to implement significant child development projects.
Eligibility and Proposal Requirements
To apply for the SBIF Muskaan programme, NGOs must meet specific eligibility criteria, including having a minimum cumulative revenue based on the project proposal amounts. For proposals under Rs. 1 crore, a minimum revenue of Rs. 2 crore over the last three financial years is essential. Conversely, organizations proposing projects above Rs. 1 crore must demonstrate a cumulative revenue of at least Rs. 5 crore during the same period. This stringent requirement ensures that only capable organizations undertake these impactful projects.
Application Process
Organizations interested in submitting a proposal must adhere to the guidelines as outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document available on the SBI Foundation’s official website. Key details such as project scope, budget frameworks, and reporting formats are included in the RFP. Applications are required to be submitted by April 20, 2026. It is critical for applicants to ensure that their proposals align with the objectives of the SBIF Muskaan initiative to increase their chances of approval.
