About the Scholarship:
The Audi Environmental Foundation actively supports research into new technologies and scientific methods for a livable future. Established in 2009 by AUDI AG, the foundation aims to contribute to environmental protection and promote sustainable behavior. With a focus on environmentally compatible technologies, environmental education, and the protection of natural necessities, the foundation strives to address challenges such as scarce resources, environmental destruction, climate change, and population growth.
Scholarship Details:
The Audi Environmental Foundation, in collaboration with One Young World, is offering scholarships to 15 inspiring young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada. The scholarship is intended for individuals driving change and tackling the climate crisis through innovative technologies, climate education, or ecosystem preservation.
Scholars will receive:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada
- Hotel accommodation in Montreal between 16 – 21 September 2024
- Participation at the pre-event by Audi AG and the Audi Environmental Foundation on 17 September 2024
- Travel expenses to and from Montreal (flights in economy)
- Catering including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Transportation between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue
Eligibility Criteria:
- Aged 18 – 30
- Nationals of all countries are eligible to apply
- Evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership
- Understanding of key local and/or global issues
- Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions
- Demonstrated impact and innovation in tackling environmental challenges
