Eligibility and Application Process
Defenders in Development policy grants : Applicants from any country in the global south are encouraged to participate. Proposals must contain components that relate to civic space or the security of human rights defenders. Although the application process operates on a rolling basis with no specific deadline, feedback will only be provided to successful applicants due to high application volumes. Examples of projects that may be funded include advocacy initiatives, research on reprisals, and convening discussions on relevant concerns.
