Dear ITF Community,
We are pleased to announce that the 9th grant cycle of the International Trans Fund (ITF) is officially open! This year, our application process has been streamlined for ease of use, as we continue to accept applications exclusively through the ITF’s grants portal. This ensures that all submissions are managed efficiently and securely.
Eligibility and Grant Types
The ITF invites trans-led organizations worldwide with annual budgets below $100,000 USD to apply for funding. We have two types of grants available:
- Seed Grant (1-year): General support and/or project grant for organizations not previously funded by the ITF. Grant amounts range from $10,000 to $25,000 USD per year.
- Thrive Grant (1-year): General support grant exclusively for trans-led organizations previously funded by the ITF in good standing, offering $25,000 to $50,000 USD per year.
Please note that you can only apply once and for one grant type. If you are applying for a Thrive Grant, make sure you are eligible to do so before starting the application.
Application Process and Deadline
To submit your application, create a profile on our grants portal. The application deadline for both seed and thrive grants is December 2, 2024, at 5 PM ET. We accept written and video applications in multiple languages, including English, French, Russian, simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
