SAMS is helping for advertising for Manager-Operations at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), recruit a Manager – Operations (Hospital Administrator) (MOHA) based in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.
SCEH is one of India’s oldest and largest eyecare institutions. It is globally respected for its comprehensive eye and ENT care, high-impact work among communities, quality research work and publications, and education and training programs for the healthcare fraternity.
SCEH has a headcount of 1,500 persons, performs 50,000 sight-restoring surgeries annually and provides clinical services to 500,000 people across its service footprint. It works in close partnership with leading international players in community eye health, as well as the best-known corporates in India.
SCEH is looking for a highly capable, self-starter and motivated administrative professional to take the lead and meet the expectations of this position.
Reporting to the Senior Medical Officer and Operations Head of Secondary Centres, the MOHA shall drive compliance with SCEH’s values of excellence in eye and ENT care and lead the team in proactively achieving targets budgeted for the centre. S/he shall organize, demonstrate, direct, engage and monitor day-to-day operational issues arising with the implementation of prescribed SCEH policies and practices.
The MOHA shall develop and implement strategic plans for achieving the hospital’s mission and goals, oversee the hospital’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control, and ensure that the hospital complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. S/he will work closely with medical and nursing staff to maintain and improve clinical standards, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. The MOHA will also ensure the maintenance and improvement of hospital facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
Applicants must have a Master’s in Hospital/ Health Administration/ Public Health, or related field with 15 years of experience in healthcare and/or hospital administration. Prior experience of administering a unit of 300 to 500 patients, is essential.
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
