Introduction to SBIF Sashakti
The SBI Foundation under its initiative, SBIF Sashakti, is dedicated to empowering women across India by supporting NGOs involved in women’s livelihood, wellbeing, and social protection interventions. This programme invites proposals from organizations that are effectively working towards these goals.
Funding Details and Eligibility
Organizations can apply for funding between Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 4 crore, with the support period ranging from one to three years. While applying, it’s crucial to remember that multiple submissions from a single organization will lead to disqualification. For projects below Rs. 1 crore, the applicant’s cumulative revenue must be a minimum of Rs. 2 crore over the last three financial years (2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25). For proposals exceeding Rs. 1 crore, the cumulative revenue prerequisite is Rs. 5 crore during the same period. This financial vetting ensures that only capable organizations are supported for impactful interventions.
Application Process and Deadline
Interested NGOs should visit the SBI Foundation’s official website to access the Request for Proposals (RFP) document, proposal forms, document checklist, grant utilization format, and quarterly reporting format. It is essential to review this documentation carefully before submission to ensure compliance with all requirements. The deadline for submitting applications is April 20, 2026. Organizations eyeing this opportunity should prepare their proposals as soon as possible to foster women’s empowerment effectively.
