Call for Proposals: Community Grants under the GEF Small Grants Programme in India

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), as the National Host Institution, is pleased to announce the opening of the 7th Operational Phase of the GEF Small Grants Programme in India. As part of this phase, TERI is inviting proposals for Community Grants.

To apply for the Community Grants, interested parties can download the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Proposal Form from the provided links. The grantees will be selected by the National Steering Committee of SGP-OP7, following the criteria and procedures outlined in the RFP. The committee’s decision will be final.

Please note that TERI and the GEF Small Grants Programme will not accept any liability for costs associated with the preparation and submission of a proposal by service providers.

The GEF-UNDP Small Grants Programme is a collaborative initiative between the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It aims to support community-based projects that promote sustainable development and address environmental challenges.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF) is also involved in this program, further highlighting the government’s commitment to environmental conservation and community empowerment.
