Empowering Women Through AWIU Global Micro-Grants

What Are AWIU Global Micro-Grants?

AWIU Global Micro-Grants provide vital funding to grassroots women’s groups aiming to implement short-term, impactful projects. These grants focus on the advancement of women in critical areas such as education, skill training, health, and entrepreneurship. By supporting women-led initiatives, these grants enable communities to foster growth and equality.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for AWIU grants, projects must be led by women and designed to be time-limited, ensuring that outcomes can be measured effectively. Each project needs to demonstrate quantifiable results and include at least two verifiable references to validate its impact. These stipulations are critical for ensuring that the resources are allocated efficiently and benefit the target community.

Application Process and Deadline

Interested grassroots organizations and women’s groups should apply before the deadline of April 16, 2026. Detailed information on how to apply and the criteria for project selection can be found on the official AWIU website at awiu.org/global-micro-grants. These grants are an excellent opportunity for women to lead their projects and make a tangible difference in their communities.
