Introduction to Coallia Stéphane Hessel Foundation Grants
The Coallia Stéphane Hessel Foundation Grants, in collaboration with the Institut de France, has opened a call for projects aimed at international solidarity associations. This initiative continues a decade-long commitment by Coallia to support migrant associations that work toward developing their regions of origin. Through this new call for projects, the foundation aims to promote social and economic development in various countries.
Grant Details and Eligibility
Eligible associations can apply for a grant of up to €10,000 to fund their projects with general interest in regions requiring official development assistance (ODA). To qualify, associations must be legally constituted under French law or exist as co-development support associations focused on one of the eligible developing countries. An important requirement is that the applying association must have existed for a minimum of one year.
Application Process and Deadline
Interested organizations need to download the application files, which can be found on the foundation’s website. Completed applications, along with the requested documents, should be sent via email to either mecenat@coallia.org or fondationcoallia@institutdefrance.fr. Applications must be submitted in a single PDF file titled ‘aap2025-si-candidatename’, and the email’s subject line should clearly indicate ‘aap 2025 – international solidarity’. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2025, providing ample time for applicants to prepare their submissions thoroughly.
