WPHF Call for Proposals Burundi: The Women’s Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Action (WPHF) has recently announced its new call for proposals in Burundi. The purpose of this call is to support civil society organizations (CSOs) in their efforts to strengthen women’s active participation and decision-making in conflict prevention processes and interventions.
WPHF is offering two funding streams for eligible organizations in Burundi. The first is programmatic funding, which ranges from $30,000 to $200,000. This funding is specifically for CSO projects that align with WPHF Impact Area 2 and aim to enhance women’s active participation and decision-making in conflict prevention processes and interventions.
The second funding stream is institutional funding, which ranges from $2,500 to $30,000. This funding is aimed at restoring and building the institutional capacity of CSOs working to implement commitments related to the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda.
It is important to note that organizations can only apply once, either for one funding stream or both. If applying for both, organizations will be required to submit two separate applications based on the requirements and templates associated with each stream.
The deadline for submitting complete applications in French is October 30, 2023. Interested organizations should email their applications to WPHFAPPLICATIONS@UNWOMEN.ORG with the subject line “WPHF CFP5-BURUNDI.”
