Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships:In 2023, the Trust awarded 21 Scholarships at British and South African universities, by means of generous academic partnerships with leading institutions.

Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships: Eligibility and Application Process
The Beit Trust offers postgraduate scholarships for students from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi who are looking to pursue a Masters degree. However, scholarships for undergraduate studies and Ph.D. research are not available, except under exceptional circumstances for Beit scholars of outstanding merit. MBAs are also not considered for scholarships. To be eligible for a Beit Trust scholarship, applicants must be nationals of Zambia, Zimbabwe, or Malawi and hold permanent residence in one of these countries. They should have the intention to return to their home country after completing their studies. Relevant work experience after completing a first degree is highly recommended and will be taken into account during the scholarship selection process. Doctors and Vets should have completed 18 months of internship, along with a one-year posting in Zambia, Zimbabwe, or Malawi, preferably in a rural area. Applicants must first apply to and be accepted by a Beit Partner University before applying for a scholarship. The Beit Trust has partnership agreements with various universities, including Cambridge, UCT, St Andrews, and Strathclyde, among others. These partnerships allow the Trust to share costs and increase the number of scholarships it can fund. It is important to note that each partnership has specific requirements and may change from time to time. The application process for the next round of Beit Scholarships, which will be awarded for the academic year beginning September 2024 in the UK and January 2025 in South Africa, is now open. It is essential to visit the official Beit Trust website for detailed information on the application process and to access the application form. For aspiring postgraduate students from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi, the Beit Trust Scholarships offer an excellent opportunity to pursue a Masters degree at leading universities in the UK and South Africa.
