Accelerating Nature-Inspired Startups for Environmental Solutions
At Ray of Hope Accelerator, our mission is to accelerate the growth of nature-inspired startups that are dedicated to scaling systemic solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. We believe that by supporting and nurturing these startups, we can create a positive impact on the planet and drive meaningful change.
Supporting a Cohort of High-Impact Startups
Each year, we carefully select a cohort of ten high-impact nature-inspired startups. These startups can be at various stages, ranging from pre-seed to series A, and represent different sectors and regions. We believe in the power of diversity and collaboration to drive innovation and create holistic solutions.
Comprehensive Support and Resources
Once selected, each startup in our cohort receives $15,000 in non-dilutive funding, which allows them to focus on their mission without the burden of giving up equity. In addition to the funding, we provide over $50,000 worth of in-kind services to each startup.
Our support includes tailored coaching sessions to help startups refine their strategies and overcome challenges. We also facilitate investor introductions, connecting startups with potential investors who share their vision and can provide additional funding opportunities.
As part of our program, we organize a 4-day nature retreat, where startups have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and gain inspiration for their work. This retreat allows for networking and collaboration among the cohort, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
Furthermore, we provide comprehensive training materials covering topics such as impact and sustainability business training, as well as innovation storytelling. We believe that equipping startups with the necessary knowledge and skills is vital for their long-term success.
