2024 Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
At Macmillan Cancer Support we are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for a 12-month fixed term full-time position. The role requires 34.5 hours per week and offers flexible working options. While a hybrid home/London location is preferred due to stakeholder proximity, we will consider home-based applicants residing in the UK.
About the Role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for coordinating Macmillan’s planning and budgeting process. This includes consolidating directorate planning outputs into a financial plan, supporting longer-term financial planning through analysis and modeling, and preparing monthly performance reports for the executive strategy team and board of trustees.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing and developing Macmillan’s planning and budgeting process
- Consolidating directorate planning outputs into a financial plan
- Ensuring financial planning and corporate planning processes are aligned
- Supporting longer-term financial planning through analysis and modeling
- Preparing consolidated monthly performance reports
- Providing insightful analysis and commentary to support business decisions
- Overseeing cost center level management reporting
- Analyzing financials to inform decision making
- Working with the finance systems team to support planning and reporting processes
- Identifying and supporting process improvement initiatives
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
