Grant Opportunities for Conservation Research and Community-Based Conservation

Grant Opportunities for Conservation Research and Community-Based Conservation
The Dr. Abigail Ross Foundation for Applied Conservation (TDARFAC) offers grant opportunities to support conservation research and community-based conservation initiatives. Our foundation is dedicated to our mission statement and three objectives: building capacity, amplifying voices, and partnering with local communities. To be eligible for funding, applicants must demonstrate a clear and specific link to the conservation of non-human primate species. TDARFAC supports individuals, collaborations or partnerships, and non-governmental organizations working in non-human primate habitat countries. Our primary focus is on assisting conservationists from low- and middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank. Projects that focus on any non-human primates, their habitats, or any animal or plant species that share and influence the same landscapes as non-human primates are eligible for funding. These projects should directly relate to the conservation of non-human primates. Before applying for a grant, applicants should carefully review the proposal guidelines, submission instructions, eligibility criteria, and funding levels. It is important to note that funding opportunities are subject to change, so please regularly check our website for updates and deadlines. Applying for a grant does not prevent the same Principal Investigator (PI) from being nominated for an award. All proposals and nominations will undergo a double-blind review process, with feedback shared with applicants for academic transparency. Once the proposal review process is complete and awards have been announced, grant recipients and awardees will be featured on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, TDARFAC conducts outcome evaluations after each project, including a researcher self-assessment and decision matrix to measure project achievements. For more information and to submit a grant proposal, please refer to our call for grant proposals on our website. Note: The content above is written in HTML format.
