About Fresh Leaf Charitable Foundation
The Fresh Leaf Charitable Foundation was established to support innovative projects that further human potential and advance access to opportunities around the world. We are keen on collaborating with high-impact, efficient organizations working in key areas such as the social and economic empowerment of women and girls, access to opportunities for children and young people, education, vocational training and entrepreneurship, and excellence in the arts.
Key Areas of Interest
We look for projects that align with our focus areas:
- The social and economic empowerment of women and girls: We support initiatives that uplift women and girls, helping them to become more self-sufficient and economically empowered.
- Access to opportunity for children and young people: Projects that create educational and growth opportunities for the younger generation are a priority.
- Education, vocational training and entrepreneurship: We support proposals that offer educational programs, vocational training, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Excellence in the arts: We are also open to supporting outstanding projects in the arts.
Application and Funding Process
The Fresh Leaf Charitable Foundation meets annually to review new grant applications. Grants are considered on a case-by-case basis, with amounts awarded depending entirely on the nature and scope of the project. We favor multi-year projects but release our support on an annual basis pending progress reports.
It’s important to note that all applications must be project-based. We prioritize innovative, cost-effective proposals with clear and measurable goals. Please be aware that we cannot respond to general fundraising appeals or contribute to the straightforward maintenance of existing services or core operating costs.
Eligibility and Restrictions
Before applying, ensure your organization and project align with our focus areas and criteria. We do not consider applications from:
- Private foundations
- Political advocacy groups
- Religious organizations
- Medical research projects
- Animal welfare organizations
- Unsolicited individuals
