We are delighted to announce that applications for Community Grants funding for 2026 are now open until 30 June 2026.
2026 UPDATE – GRANTS OPEN The Dying to Know Day Community Grants Program is back for 2026, offering funding to support communities across Australia in creating meaningful spaces for conversations about death, dying, and grief. These grants are designed to empower local groups, organizations, and individuals to host events, workshops, and initiatives that encourage open dialogue and build capacity around end‑of‑life awareness.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has already contributed to this important movement. By holding space for these conversations, communities are helping to reduce stigma, foster compassion, and strengthen support networks for people navigating loss and mortality.
Applications for the 2026 Community Grants Program are now officially open until 30 June 2026. Funding opportunities are available for projects that align with the vision of Dying to Know Day — creating a culture where talking about death and dying is not only accepted but encouraged.
If you’ve already submitted an application, rest assured that your submission is being processed. Applicants will be notified of outcomes by the end of February 2026.
