Education and STEM
L&T supports educational infrastructure and learning programmes in government schools.
Its CSR portfolio includes STEM education, digital learning, school infrastructure and teacher-related interventions. The Jyoti STEM Education Programme is one example, supporting government schools in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
Healthcare

Water, Sanitation and Rural Development
L&T’s rural development programmes include water conservation, sanitation, infrastructure development and community institution strengthening.
Its Unnati watershed programme has worked in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, while other initiatives address water and sanitation needs in rural communities.
Environment Conservation
Environmental conservation is another area of L&T’s CSR and sustainability work, including conservation initiatives and community-based environmental programmes. L&T’s FY2025–26 reporting recorded more than 7.95 lakh beneficiaries under environment conservation initiatives.
L&T Community Development Programmes
The Nayi Disha programme is one example of L&T’s community-development approach. It operates across districts in Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha and combines education, health, water and sanitation, SHG capacity building and youth engagement.
During the reported year, Nayi Disha benefited 26,270 people across 118 villages and one Nagar Panchayat.
