Overview of Open Global Power 2026
The Enel Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the call for applications for the 2026 edition of Open Global Power (OGP). This initiative serves as an evolution of the previous Open Africa Power and Open Brazil Power programs, uniting them into a singular, integrated platform aimed at fostering advanced training, policy dialogue, and professional exchange in sustainable energy.
Objectives of the Program
The Open Global Power 2026 initiative strives to build a global community of current and future energy leaders. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of energy systems, regulation, economics, and technology, enhancing their capabilities to convert global best practices into locally applicable solutions. One of the crucial aspects of the program is the promotion of gender balance and geographic diversity, ensuring a merit-based selection process.
Engagement and Learning Structure
This edition adopts a unique global architecture while incorporating territorial specializations. Participants will embark on a structured learning journey through online modules complemented by a selective in-person experience. Collaborations with top academic institutions from diverse regions, including Italy, Africa, Brazil, and Chile, will enhance the learning experience. Applications for this enriching opportunity are open from April 13th to May 15th, 2026. To learn more about the program, visit the Enel Foundation’s official page.
