Understanding Our Grant Philosophy
The Azim Premji Foundation is committed to contributing towards a more just, equitable, humane, and sustainable society. Our foundation offers multi-year grants aimed at supporting non-profit organizations that serve the most vulnerable populations in India. These groups include persons with disabilities, women facing violence, adolescent girls, children at risk, the homeless, and various marginalized communities.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applicants from a diverse range of organizations, from small and early-stage initiatives to established entities. Our grants typically range from a few lakh rupees to several crores, with tenures lasting from 1 to 10 years. Most of our grants are granted for 3-4 year durations. We focus on various themes to ensure that our support addresses critical areas impacting disadvantaged populations such as manual scavengers, migrant workers, farmers with marginal landholdings, and water-deficient communities.
How to Apply for a Grant?
If your organization is interested in applying, please use our NGO registration form to provide a brief overview along with the necessary contact information. If your details are submitted correctly and your email address is valid, you will receive login credentials to our grant management portal within seven working days. This portal will allow you to manage your organization’s details and track your grant application.
