The Care Collective Fund 2026, launched by GOT BAG, offers up to €10,000 for projects tackling climate action, ocean health, and sustainability. Applications close on 5 July 2026 (midnight CEST), and funding must be used within 12 months
Focus Areas (Strategic Pillars):
Plastic Life Cycle – reducing plastic pollution through prevention, recycling, and innovation
Maritime Ecosystems – protecting and restoring ocean and coastal biodiversity
Community of Care & Climate Resilience – empowering communities to adapt and build resilience against climate change
Eligibility Who Can Apply for Care Collective Fund 2026:
NGOs, foundations, grassroots initiatives, activists
Academic research projects
Social enterprises with measurable environmental impact
Not Eligible:
Conventional businesses
Individuals without activism experience
Projects lacking genuine environmental impact or engaging in “greenwashing”
Preference: Locally led initiatives in the Global South, especially Southeast Asia and coastal Africa
Application Requirements
Submit an online proposal with clear project impact, alignment to pillars, and measurable outcomes.
Include a detailed budget plan (PDF or Excel).
Reporting and impact measurement are mandatory.
Kick-off call scheduled in July 2026 to align expectations.
