However, NGOs are advised to submit applications during the first quarter of the financial year so that there is sufficient time for District and State authorities to process and forward the proposal.

How to Apply
NGOs seeking DDRS Grant-in-Aid must first register on the NITI Aayog NGO Darpan portal and obtain an NGO Unique ID.
After obtaining the NGO Darpan Unique ID, the organization must submit its proposal online through the Government of India’s e-Anudaan portal.
The application is then processed through the prescribed government channel.
For a proposal, the process generally involves:
NGO submits the proposal online.
The proposal goes to the concerned District Welfare Officer for inspection.
After district-level processing, it is forwarded to the concerned State Government.
The State Government reviews proposals through its State Grant-in-Aid Committee.
Eligible proposals are recommended to the Central Government.
New cases are also scrutinized by the Screening Committee constituted by DEPwD.
Approved Grant-in-Aid is released according to the applicable government procedures.
