Introduction to the Grant
The Martin Wills Wildlife Maintenance Trust offers grants to support the conservation of wildlife and environmental charities. Our focus lies in the maintenance and conservation of the natural environment, specifically benefiting public areas, rural landscapes, and their indigenous woodland flora and fauna. This post aims to clarify the criteria for applicants seeking support through our trust.
Grant Eligibility and Amounts
Grants typically range from £1,000 to £2,000, with occasional awards up to £5,000. The trust primarily supports charities that are registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales or the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). It is important to note that organizations previously supported by the trust within the last 24 months are not eligible to apply. Importantly, we do not provide grants to individuals looking for personal assistance.
Application Process and Safeguarding Policies
Grant applications can be submitted online or via post/email at any time, as there is no deadline. Applicants should review the criteria for small or large grants prior to submission. The application should include essential details about the organization, including its charitable status, recent accounts, and any safeguarding policies necessary for organizations working with children or vulnerable adults. The safety and welfare of all affected by the charity’s activities remain our utmost priority.
