Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund – For Women and Girls in Scotland

Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund – For Women and Girls in Scotland

The Scottish Government established the Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund to support the personal and professional development of women and girls aged 13 years and older. The fund addresses a key finding from sector research: women need greater access to vocational and practical training to advance their careers and strengthen Scotland’s rural economy.

This initiative aligns with Scotland’s Fair Work agenda, ensuring agriculture is more accessible to women while promoting long‑term sustainability and resilience in rural communities. scotland.lantra.co.uk
