Call for Applications for Funding from the Fund for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid
The Fund for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid is inviting applications for funding. The deadline for submission of applications is May 7, 2024.
Terms and Conditions
The call aims to support the implementation of a flexible, responsive, and results-oriented development cooperation policy. It seeks to empower Lithuanian public and private sector institutions to undertake large-scale, high added-value projects in partner countries.
The total budget for this call is 850,000 EUR. The funding will be allocated to projects and programs selected through calls for proposals, as well as for direct funding projects or programs. It will also be used for ensuring national co-financing of programs and projects financed by international donors.
Funded Activities
Applicants must ensure that their proposed activities align with the Lithuanian development cooperation strategic directions and the concepts approved by the Fund’s governing board. The concepts include:
- Concept 1: Promotion of societal resilience to disinformation and prevention of hybrid threats (Republic of Armenia)
- Concept 2: Strengthening national and regional media capabilities and resilience to disinformation (Republic of Moldova)
- Concept 3: Strengthening administrative and institutional capacity in the field of eurointegration in Moldova
- Concept 4: Economic and social empowerment of women and girls in Iraq
- Concept 5: Digital transformation in Kenya
- Concept 6: Strengthening societal resilience to disinformation and hybrid threats (Georgia)
- Concept 7: Provision of psychosocial assistance to individuals affected by the war against Ukraine
- Concept 8: Strengthening digital and business skills of young people and women in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana
- Concept 9: Support for civil society (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia)
Submission of Project Applications
Project applications must be filled in and submitted electronically online in either Lithuanian or English. The deadline for submitting applications is May 7, 2024, 17:00 Lithuanian time.
