Introduction to the Resilience Fund
The Resilience Fund, Mama Cash’s largest grantmaking program, is now accepting letters of interest from applicants who are not current grantee-partners from March 3 to March 31, 2025, until 11:59 PM CET. The fund is designed to resource, support, and connect feminist groups, collectives, and initiatives worldwide, focusing on enhancing the voices and leadership of women, girls, and trans people.
Eligibility and Funding Details
This year, funding applications will only be considered from specific regions including the Americas and Caribbean, Europe, Central Asia, and North Asia. The value of grants ranges from €5,000 to €50,000 per year, with an average grant size of €35,000. Importantly, the fund prioritizes supporting smaller, emerging groups that are essential to advancing social justice but often lack sufficient financial resources.
Support and Resources for Grantees
Accompaniment is a key feature of the Resilience Fund, ensuring grantee-partners are equipped to fulfill their missions effectively. This support can be both financial and non-financial, tailored to meet the specific needs of each organization. By enabling groups to build skills and expand networks, Mama Cash enhances their capacity to advocate for structural change. The resilience fund is committed to a long-term support model, with the aim of renewing grants for up to ten years.
